| SO.. its been a while since Ive logged, but this is the first moment in
about a month ive had time to sit for a minute and not feel like
collapsing. So much has changed... ill just list them...
ellaborate later.
1. not moving to the big bear area after all... house didnt work
out, my jobs didnt work out and im working on going to grad school in a
year... so we decided to wait
2. bought my first 'new' car.. i got a 97 subaru outback.
its a bit dorky.. not as cool as an SUV (i wanted a nissan xtrerra) but
its awesome- its got power, room for my boyfriend and his dog and
groceries, it fits more than 2 people and most importantly
.........ITS NOT THE SMALLEST AS PIECE OF SHIT TRUCK IN THE WORLD that
i have had since i got my drivers lisence. anyway, i love it and
it loves me. . i hope
3. im in super duper training for my first triathlon at the end
of august (the 28th to be exact). im doing 2-3 work outs a day
usually including at least a 20 mile cycle on my pretty blue bike and a
1 hour 15 minute swim work outs, 2-4 mile runs, and throwing in my
usual gym and weight lifting routine, and hiking and bike riding almost
daily with adam
4. ive moved in with adam in SB, cause thats the only way i can
afford it, and im enjoying it, things are going well in that department
5. new job at the school district next year- im working in prestigious autism class in the district
6. started working with Pacific Child and Family Services- they
offered to pay for my tuition for grad school if i go to CSU LA, but
that involves LA, so trying to figure this whole thing out. My
number one priority at the moment is to get ready and take the GRE by
the end up September and actually do well and work on letters of
REQ. HEED- i am envious of your completion of hte GRE, but it has
motivated me cause im a slacker and hte books are so huge
7. hmm... lost a bunch of weight due to point number 3
8. im working a temporary nanny job until some other clients go
through the regional center with pacific child, and im not going to
complain. im mostly working with the most wonderful family in
santa barbara. they have a HUGE beautiful house in Hope Ranch
that they build and designed themselves recently, that is just alive
with colors and there are a bunch of horses next door. Last week,
the mom showed up with a bag of clothes for me from Robinsons May for
me to wear to Fiesta Acticties with them (I was accompanying them to
Rodeos and other activities). and not just cheap clothes; ralph lauren,
polo, etc. She had bought me 4 shirts that i unfortunately had to
return because they were too big due to reason number 7 and the fact
that i am now lacking in the ... how should i state this in mixed
company... in the chest-ial region, and have nothing to support
somewhat designer tank tops... but anyways, 4 shirts totalled 200
dollars and the mom said i could totally return it if it didnt fit, get
whatever i want. which was awesome, cause im broke and ive lost a
lot of weight and havent been able to do the celebrational new clothes
shopping, so all my clothes are like several sizes too big... NICE
9. took a nice little vacation 2 weeks ago to monterey and big
sur which left me so broke that i cant afford to develop all the
awesome pictures i took. we stayed in monterey for a night, then
spent the day in monterey, saw the aquarium (if you havent seen it, or
havent seen it since you were a little kid, i would highly recommend
it!! there are sea turtles and everything!) a little wine tasting on
the bay... more wine tasting on the bay.. most of which was free or had
a minimal fee of 5 dollars for 5-6 tastings, then journeyed to big surr
for two splendid nights of camping next to the big sur river. it
was awesome, it was so relaxing and peaceful. pictures to come at
some point... at this point.. it may be a while unless the money fairy
visits me in the middle of the night (if anyone has any tips on how to
lure the money fairy, im all game... donation of organs? charity
work? prayer/meditation?)
10. umm.. i feel like there should be a ten, just cause its a
good number. I miss all my friends.. I havent seen anyone for a
while cause everyone is grown up and working and moving and stuff...
but thats nothing new.
Will elaborate later, but for now ive consumed enough wine and my laptop is roasting from the effort so far.
